A first aid kit is always something to think about. Not only should you have the proper items in your home but also one for your car. They say to have a battery operated radio and clock for emergencies. This one fits both bills. Radio and clock all in one.
This is a great one for in the bedroom. Just in case the power doesn't turn back on in the middle of the night, even after it was promised.
